I’m originally from Coventry — a city built on resilience, rhythm, and unity. After World War II, many people from Jamaica came to Coventry to rebuild and restart, bringing with them their strength, spirit, and sound. That heartbeat of reggae and dub became part of the city’s soul — and part of mine too.

Living with Borderline Personality Disorder, I often turn to reggae and dub to steady myself when I feel things start to sway. The music brings me back to centre — calm, grounded, and grateful.

After hearing about the hurricane that’s struck Jamaica, I felt compelled to create something — a design to show love, gratitude, and solidarity with the island and its people. Jamaica has given the world a rhythm of resilience; now it’s our turn to send that love back.
